Charter Bank Robbed Tuesday 2 March
Suspect Arrested
On Tuesday 2 March, at about noon, a lone male robber struck the Charter Bank on Walnut Street in Chaska.  The male left his car, at the bank, and fled on foot.
At approximately 4 PM, Officer Elroy Schmidt observed a suspicious male walking on County Road 110 roughly 2-3 miles from the bank.  Officer Schmidt made contact with the male and quickly determined that he was the robbery suspect. The suspect was arrested and a great deal of money was recovered.

There were 182 calls for service.
A male driver crashed his vehicle into a guardrail on Creek Road and drove from the scene.   He was located by police a short time later.  The male offender was intoxicated and was in possession of marijuana.  He was placed under arrest and charged with 2nd degree DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A male and female, involved in a relationship, became involved in a physical altercation at their residence.  The male punched the female several times, pulled her hair and kicked her during the assault.  Police responded to the residence and placed the male under arrest.  Forged ID and social security cards were located on the male as well.  He was charged with domestic assault, 5th degree assault and aggravated forgery.
