Chaska City Hall Bulletin

Volume 9, Issue 6, March 10, 2016

With the weather beginning to warm up, residents are reminded that solicitors who go knocking on household doors are required to have a permit.  Residents can ask to see their permit.

Ice Cream vendors are also beginning to be out and about.  They too require a permit, called a Peddler’s Permit.

Individuals selling items from a stand, such as a fruit/vegetable stand, are required to obtain permission from the property owner where they intend to sell and to purchase a Transient Permit from the City.
Permits are available from the City Clerk at Chaska City Hall at a cost of $40 per individual. Residents are encouraged to call Chaska City Hall at 952-448-9200 during regular business hours or the non-emergency Police Department number at 952-448-4200 if you have an issue with a solicitor or questions about the permit process. Call 911 if you have an issue after hours.

Remember to "spring ahead" one hour this weekend when you set your clock ahead an hour for Daylight Savings Time Saturday night.

You don't want to miss the Park Board meeting on Monday night at the CCC at 7:00 pm because you didn't set your clock ahead.
