A Message from Chief Knight
On Monday 22 August, two groups from the CPD Riverview Soccer Program went out on Lake Minnetonka with the CCC "Fishing with Friends" program.

Captain Carl Lacey took them out along with Denise and Lawrence who are volunteers with the program. For many of the youth, this was the first time fishing! Most of them caught fish.

This was the end of summer celebration with the soccer program that is held in Riverview Terrace.

During an altercation at a residence, a male grabbed a female and pushed her against a wall.   Officers located the male in his vehicle a short time later.   The male was arrested and charged with domestic assault.

Police observed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot past business hours. A male was sleeping inside the vehicle and a drug pipe was in plain view. Adderall pills were located near the male.  He was arrested and charged with 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
