The City reaching out to our community for individuals interested in serving as Election Judges for the Tuesday, November 8, 2016, General Election. The City is made up of 4 Wards, each with their own polling site. Each site is required to have a balance of Democrat and Republication judges. Denise Wetzel, Election Coordinator for the City, is in need of 9 Republicans and 1 Democrat to serve on November 8.

Five (5) Republicans are needed to serve the full day (6:00 a.m. to approximately 10 p.m.)

Four (4) Republicans to serve the afternoon shift (1:30 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m.)

One (1) Democrat to serve the afternoon shift (1;30 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m.)

Judges are paid $9.50 per hour. A continental breakfast will be provided, along with a catered box lunch. Beverages will be provided throughout the day and evening.  Every polling site has a kitchen and appliances available. 

All judges are required to have at least 2 hours of paid training. Training will be held at City Hall on Oct. 19th. Three classes will be held that day to accommodate most people's needs: 9:30 to 11:30 am, 12:30 to 2:30 pm or 6 to 8 pm.
