2016 Ryder Cup

Congratulations USA

The 41st Ryder Cup has come and gone.  It was a tremendous success.  Many partners came together and filled out our law enforcement, fire, medical, security and emergency response team.
Even though the last putt has dropped our work continues.  We will have Ryder Cup points of interest that we will be sharing with you in the weeks to come.
All of our team members put in many hours to make the Ryder Cup a huge success and we are grateful for everyone's contributions.

Attempted Burglary

The quick response of officers resulted in the interruption of a burglary in progress on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016.  Chaska Police officers arrested 20-year-old Bryce McPadden of Waconia, after a Chaska resident called 911.  The resident reported finding the man attempting to cut or pry the screen to her home just shortly after noon.

Officers responded to the home along Clover Ridge Drive within minutes of the call and found 3 adults about to leave the area in a vehicle.

McPadden was identified and claimed he was trying to get into a friend’s house, but must have had the wrong address.  There was no damage and nothing stolen from the home.  McPadden is being held at Carver County Jail pending a charging decision by the Carver County Attorney’s Office.

An adult female, 20-year-old Allison Traina of Chaska, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.  The third adult male was released from the scene.
