Chaska Curling Center

Summer Leagues

Registration for our summer leagues will open on July 10th at 10am.  The leagues will run for 7 weeks (6 weeks on Mondays due to Labor Day) and will start on August 14th and finish September 28th.  Game times will be 6 and 8 pm.  There are open leagues for curlers looking for more competitive games.  Beginner leagues are for teams made up of all new curlers or a combination of new and experienced.  Games will be less competitive than the open leagues.  Spring and summer leagues are a great time to get involved in curling as the memberships are prorated (memberships go through September 30th).  Call or email the Curling Center if you have any questions.

Learn to Curls

August learn to curl classes are open and available for registration. The 2 hour class covers the basics of curling including scoring, rules, etiquette, and on-ice instruction on how to throw a rock, sweep, and play a game. Participants that complete a learn to curl class can explore membership and league opportunities. Classes will be a max of 48 people.  More dates will be added as we get into the fall and winter league seasons.

Under Armour Apparel

New UA clothing has arrived.  There are men's and women's t-shirts, 1/4 zips, as well as baseball hats.

Fire and Ice Bonspiel

Fire and Ice Bonspiel

48 teams from around the country will be participating in our second Fire and Ice Bonspiel.  Games will begin July 20th in the evening and will conclude the afternoon of the 23rd.  There will be events for the family in the Park as well as food and beverage tents.  Live entertainment and fireworks Friday and Saturday!

Hack and Hacks

For those interested in trying your luck on the curling ice and golf course, we are working with our friends at Island View in Waconia to offer a Hack and Hacks event July 30-31.  More information can be found HERE.

Ice Maintenance- no curling

We are taking the ice out for yearly maintenance after leagues on June 29th.  We'll get everything cleaned up and reinstalled and will be back in business the week of July 17th.

Road Construction

Road work will begin on Hwy 61 in July.  The street in front of the Curling Center will be torn up and there will be detours into and out of the parking lot.  This will go on for several months.  Please be patient with parking and allow extra time to maneuver through the detours.  Work should begin July 10th.
