Chaska Police detectives are looking for witnesses of a hit and run crash involving a bicyclist in downtown Chaska on Wednesday night.

At about 9:45 p.m. on May 27, officers were called to the intersection of Highway 41 and Fourth Street where a bicyclist reported being struck by a silver or gray passenger car with two male occupants.

A witness on scene directed another motorist to obtain the plate of the suspect vehicle as it left southbound on Highway 41, but police have not yet heard from that motorist.  Detectives would like to talk to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information.  The bicyclist received minor injuries and did not require ambulance assistance.  You can contact Det. Sgt. Rachel Nelson at Chaska Police Department at 952-448-4200 if you have information about this case.
