Best Suburbs to Raise a Family in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Area Rates Chaska #2!

Niche.com ranks US suburbs based on age demographics, school ratings, crime rates, and access to affordable housing, child care, libraries, and grocery stores. A high ranking indicates that a suburb attracts young families with good schools and a safe community.

We are excited to announce that the City of Chaska was rated #2 on their list of 67 communities in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.  Below is a list of criteria used in their ratings, and the grades Chaska received.

FARMER'S MARKET A BIG SUCCESS!

The first Chaska Farmer's Market appeared to be a big success yesterday at City Square Park.  From 3:00 to 7:00 pm dozens of vendors showcased their wares, including fresh flowers, homemade nut butters, olive oils, honey, bread, beverages, and even a few craft tables.  A smattering of vegetables was available, but as the weather warms up, even more local produce will ready for sale. According to the flower vendor, succulent snap peas should be at their prime next week.

Many of these vendors are also the same people who offer their goods over the noon hour at the Carver County Government Center's Farmer's Market, as well.  So remember to stop by one of the venues every Wednesday.  Support your local businesses and eat healthy at the same time!
