1st day of Safety Camp is a success!

Our own Officer Boll who is a member of B.A.R.K.  – Being Advocates for Rescued k-9’s- discussed animal safety.

Our Safety Camp kids learned about fire safety and railroad safety and built a project with the help of Home Depot.  A State Patrol Helicopter landed as well as a magic show to wrap up the day.

Notable:
Perhaps get a job and buy it yourself?

Officers were called to a disturbance in a parking lot.  A 19 (yes….19 not 9) year old male was on the hood of his aunt’s car and refused to get off, because she would not buy him the phone he wanted.  Not surprisingly, this tactic did not work as the police advised him to get off the car and the male complied.   To our knowledge he still did not get his phone.
