Highway 61 between Bluff Creek Drive and Great Plains Boulevard will open at 7pm on September 30. This will re-open the connection between Chaska and Shakopee that has been closed since the end of May.
There will still be small detour for Highway 101, as motorists will still use the temporary intersection to the east of the Highway 61 roundabout.
Also happening this week-crews will be pouring the bridge deck of the new County Road 101river bridge this means another closure of County Road 101.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, County Road 101 will close between downtown Shakopee and Hwy 61 in Chanhassen. During that time there will be no access to the 101 river bridge.
All lanes are expected to reopen by 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3.
