Street Activities Include:

Street and alley maintenance, street cleaning, snow removal, storm sewer and flood control maintenance, Civil Defense warning system maintenance, sign maintenance, and construction inspection services.

In Minnesota, one of the major objectives of a City is snow removal. Following a snowfall of two inches or more, it is our goal to have all City streets plowed within an 8 hour period. To aid the City in achieving its goal, no parking along City streets is permitted within 24 hours of such a snowfall.

Current Street Projects

Overlay Project Delayed
The street overlay project scheduled to begin Monday, August 8th is rescheduled to begin on Monday, August 15th. This change has been made in respect for the company contracted to do the project as they mourn the loss of an employee.
