City of Chaska ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR The City of Chaska is accepting applications for the position of Assistant City Administrator. The position is responsible for assisting the City Administrator with the day-to-day management of the city, managing all of the economic development activities of the city, including administering the City's tax increment financing districts, managing the City's human resource activities, administering all of the City's Worker's Compensation and Property/Liability Insurance coverage, coordinating communications activities coming out of the City, and serving as the acting-Administrator in the absence of the City Administrator.
Desired qualifications include a master's degree in public administration or related field and three or more years of local government experience with an emphasis on economic development, personnel administration and municipal finance and budgeting. 2012 starting salary range is $72,804 to $83,676 per year, plus excellent benefits, depending upon experience and qualifications. The entire 2012 pay range for the position is $72,804 to $94,560.
