Office of the Fire Marshal

The Fire Marshal's office is dedicated to the protection of life and property for the citizens of Chaska. The Chaska Fire Marshal's office provides the following services:

Fire inspections in new and existing structures

Issues burning permits

Issues fireworks display permits

Issues sales of fireworks permits

Investigates post fire scenes for cause and origin

Provides plan review for:

Fire sprinkler systems

Fire alarm systems

Building construction

Administers the city's Rental Housing Ordinance

Conducts rental housing inspections

Responds to emergency calls

Assists the Chaska Fire Department in providing fire prevention education to various organizations
