Find a partner and come test your skills in a fun and competitive 2-person team league. This league is open to two resident partners, or, a resident can partner up with a non-resident. Compete for weekly points against another league rival in a 9-hole combination of both stroke play, and match play. Payouts will go to the top 4 teams each half of the season as well as the top 4 teams in each division overall. Pace of play will be closely monitored. Groups will be expected to play 9 holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes.
League Meeting Thursday April 24th at 6:30p.m. Chaska Town Course.
2 Person Teams - May 1st - August 28th. Playoffs held August 14th - 28th.
2 Divisions - 16 teams each division
Early Division will tee off from 3:30-4:40 P.M.
Late Division will tee off from 4:50 - 6:00 P.M.
Tee times are pre-arranged by the Golf Shop, round robin format.
Limited to the first 32 teams (16 teams each division)
Cost is $460.00 per person / $920.00 per team (includes sales tax)
Fees include 18 weeks greens fees, 2008 handicap card, all prizes and payouts and the year end banquet.
Each team will have an "A" and a "B" player (lowest handicap is the "A" player).
"A" player versus "A" player and "B" player verses "B" player in a 9-hole match for a possible 2 points each match. There will be 1 point for net stroke play and 1 point for net match play for each match. There are a possible 4 points possible per team each week.
Payouts for 2 pin events, and 1st or 2nd place individual low net each week, for each division.
Payouts for the top 4 teams in each division for the 1st half of the season.
Payouts for the top 4 teams in each division for the 2nd half of the season.
Playoffs! The top 8 teams, in each division, will advance. The playoffs are single elimination four matches until we have our ball league champion on August 28th. The top 4 playoff teams in each division will receive payouts. All teams not competing in the playoffs will play in a nightly skins game.
Awards and banquet will follow the last night of playoffs on August 28th.
No specials or discount(s) can be used toward the entry fees.
If you can not make it on a given week, you will be responsible for finding a substitute. All substitutes must have a current USGA handicap or they will play as a scratch. If you are unable to find a substitute that player will forfeit the match and all points.
If a substitute is used during the playoffs, they will only play at half of their current USGA handicap.
