National Bike Month in May
May is National Bike Month, promoted by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities around the United States. National Bike Month provides communities the chance to highlight the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more residents to give biking a try.

Chaska Community Bike Ride
Tuesday, May 24th from 6-8:30 p.m.
Register for the Community Bike Ride!
This free, family-friendly ride will include an 8-mile loop, starting and ending at Lions Park. There will be one water stop, along with a pit stop at Athletic Park. Riders can turn around at any point if they do not wish to ride the entire route. Helmets required for all riders. Snacks, waters, and recreational activities provided at Lions Park after the ride.
Parking
Options for parking include the Lions Park Dog Park, parking lot, or Ravoux Road. There are no shuttle services.
Registration
This event is a free event, but registration is required. Register by Wednesday, May 18th at 10 a.m.

Don't have a bike?
Eastern Carver County School Community Education has sponsored a rentable bike fleet for this event. Medium to large bikes will be available at the event. Please register for the event to use one of the bikes for the ride.

Carver Community Safety Event
and Bike Rodeo

Join us for this Bike rodeo in Carver! Bring your bike and helmet and receive a free bike safety check, helmet fitting, and bike safety tips. Also take advantage of the car seat safety checks will also take place at this event (appointments required). Contact Esther at (651) 796-8142 to make an appointment.

Bark in the Park
Wednesday, July 27 | 6:00-7:30 pm
Bring your pets to Fireman's Park for a fun-filled evening! Pet vendors and community pet organizations, doggie give-a-ways, doggie obstacle course, photo booth, games and MORE! Bring your dog and participate in events or just come to socialize with other dog lovers. Traveled Ground will perform until 8:00 pm.
Pet Parade
Register for the first annual Chaska Pet Parade! This pet-friendly parade will start at 6:00 p.m. at Veterans Park with the City of Chaska Parks and Recreation staff leading the way! The parade continues across the boardwalk path to Firemen’s Park.
Parade participants may come as a “Unit” - create a float or come dressed in a favorite costume, play an instrument, decorate your bikes or stroller, or bring the family pet (on a leash or in a cage). Awards and prizes will be given for the Largest Pet, the Smallest Pet, Best Costume, Best Decorated Bike and Best Overall Decoration/Unit.
Cost: $5 if registered on or by July 13; $15 if registered after July 13.

Touch-A-Truck
Thursday, August 18

Vehicle Fair, Carnival, and Food!
Roll on up to Touch-a-Truck and experience the thrill of sitting in a fire truck, a police squad car, or a big snowplow! All ages are invited to this FREE event to play carnival games by Chaska organizations, eat ice cream and popcorn (while supplies last) and then dance to the music of Kids Dance DJ. Other food/beverages will be available for purchase.

MUSIC, ART, FUN! Come celebrate the CD release of The Songwriters and Musicians of Carver County! Enjoy a live concert featuring music from the CD, shop local art vendors, and more.

Vendor Registration Information
Register as a vendor by August 1st, 2022
- $50 Booth fee for non-Art stock vendors
- $35 Booth fee for Art Stock vendors-request a discount code by calling 952-27-7742
The 10'x10' booth fee is due at registration. Fees can be paid online, by a credit online, by a credit card over the phone (Chaska Parks and Rec 952-227-7742) or check payable to The City of Chaska.
After deposit of fee, there will be a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be in writing. After August 15, 2022, no refunds will be given, unless due to inclement weather.

Schedule/Times Check-In & Set-Up
All vendors will be ready to sell by 11:00 AM on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Exhibitors are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to their work and/or personal property while setting up, participating in, and taking down their work and display materials during the event. Vendors can unload their vehicles from the Firemen’s Park/Event Center parking lot, then park in the Veterans Parking lot. Volunteers and staff will be available to assist with carrying items, setting up booths, and answering questions.
Vendor Tear Down
No tear down until after the public clears out. All vendors must complete take down by 6:00 PM. Vendors will load their vehicles from the Firemen’s Park/Event Center parking lot. We recommend using a cart to bring art pieces to/from your vehicle.
Electricity Needs
Food Trucks should be self-sufficient and bring generator(s). Limited plug-ins available.
Notes and Reminders
Vendors must supply their own tent and/or awning with weights, table(s), chair(s), banner(s), and other supplies. Spaces will be marked and a map showing booth location will be provided prior to the event.
All tents use weights. Be certain that the weights are sufficient to sustain strong winds that sometimes occur during outdoor events. Vendors are responsible for properly securing their tents. The City of Chaska does not allow stakes.
